Developing Women

The Junior League of Gainesville – Hall County has been training women to be community leaders since 1951.  The training the Junior League provides to our volunteers is what sets us apart from other volunteer organizations.

We provide training for members in the following ways:

General Membership Meetings: Provide training and general League information in a large group setting. Speakers are often brought in to educate, inform and inspire.

Placements:   Members receive a variety of training in each of our placement opportunities. Working together within each committee, members have the opportunity to organize and implement a league project on a large scale. These projects provide service to the League and impact the member’s training goals.

Provisional Course: Newest Junior League members spend a year together learning about the League and the importance and impact of our community involvement.

AJLI Leadership Training: The Association of Junior Leagues International offers training available to all members in varying leadership skills through a series of professional programs.
