2015 Charity Ball Invitation-1The 64th annual Charity Ball is Saturday,
December 12th from 8:00pm to 1:00am at the Chattahoochee Country Club.

Tickets are $150 per couple and $75 for individual tickets and include dinner, two drink tickets per person and a signature drink.  Tickets for sustaining members are $125 a couple. No one under 21 is allowed admission into the ball.

We are proud to introduce our six belle candidates, who are all outstanding young ladies dedicated to furthering the mission of the Junior League to make the community a better place for women and children.

Couvillon_Sarah_Grace

Sarah Grace Couvillon – Representing Kiwanis

Sarah Grace is a junior at Gainesville High School and is honored to be representing the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville in this year’s Charity Ball. She has been a member of student council for the past 3 years and is a member of Beta Club, Key Club, and FCA. Sarah Grace is involved in Younglife and is a member of Gainesville First United Methodist Church. She is a camp counselor at YMCA Camp Cheerio during the summer. Sarah Grace is very excited and thankful to have the opportunity to give back to her community.

Sartain_Susanna
Susanna Sartain – Representing Jaycees

Susanna is a senior at Gainesville High School and is incredibly honored to have been selected to represent the Jaycees in this year’s annual Charity Ball. She is a varsity football cheerleader, an active member of the Environmental Awareness Club, Thespian Troupe 2445, the GHS S.P.E.E.D Team, the Hispanic Organization Promoting Education, and a participant in the GHS work based learning program. Susanna has volunteered with the Georgia Mountain Food Bank, United Way, the Red Cross, and the Promising Futures program. Her oldest sister, Callie was the Belle of the Ball in 2011, and her middle sister Carey participated in Charity Ball in 2013. Susanna is thrilled to have the opportunity to follow in her sisters’ footsteps in making such a positive impact on her community.

Shope_Carlee
Carlee Shope – Representing Gainesville Rotary

Carlee is a senior at North Hall High School and an active member of her Senior Student Council, Beta Club, Pep Club President, an officer of H.O.S.A. as well as a four-year varsity athlete. Carlee is an alumna of the 2015 Greater Hall Chamber Youth Leadership Hall Program and the Mount Vernon Peer Ambassador Program. She has grown up as a Lakewood Baptist Church member and is actively involved in local Young Life activities. She is currently completing a scholastic internship at Atlanta Rehab and plans to seek a degree in Physical Therapy or Athletic Training.  In her free time, Carlee enjoys time with her friends and family and a host of outdoor North Georgia and Lake Lanier activities such as wakeboarding, hiking, snow skiing, reading anything by Nicholas Sparks, and heads to the beach at every opportunity. Carlee is the daughter of Anthony and Shelley Shope and younger sister to Clay Shope. It is her honor to represent the Gainesville Rotary in the 2015 Charity Ball!

Emmy Stephens – Representing Lanierland Civitan

Emmy is a senior at Lakeview academy. She has been involved with Key Club, Eco Club, Interact Club, International Club, and National Arts Honors Society throughout high school. Emmy is also the basketball cheerleading captain this year and plays varsity tennis. Emmy is excited to be able to represent the Lanierland Civitan Club for this year’s Charity Ball and is grateful for the opportunity to give back to her community.

Mikinzie Versteeg – Representing South Hall Rotary

Mikinzie is currently enrolled as a senior at Lakeview Academy where she has attended school for the past fourteen years. Mikinzie has been involved in Key Club, Eco Club, FCA and has also been a member of the varsity basketball team for all four years of high school. Although being undecided on her choice of college; Mikinzie’s intended major is in the field of Special Education. Mikinzie is ecstatic to be a Belle candidate and very thankful for this opportunity!

Waddell_Shannon
Shannon Waddell – Representing Braselton Rotary

Shannon is a senior at Lakeview Academy. She is involved in Key Club, Senior Beta Club, Eco Club, International Club, and Interact Club.  She is involved in Younglife, is a FCA Leader and is a counselor at the YMCA Camp High Harbour. She has played varsity soccer for four years. Shannon is honored and excited to represent the Braselton Rotary Club and to work alongside such a great community raising money for charity.
