WomenSource

 

 

WomenSource is a non-profit organization that was created through a collaboration among the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County, North Georgia Community Foundation and United Way of Hall County, in response to a community needs assessment commissioned by the United Way of Hall County in 2007.  While a number of effective women’s support programs existed in the community, results from the assessment revealed a need for a channel that could improve the current systems through the coordination and expansion of existing programs.   Mission Creating personal and professional success for women of all ages and backgrounds in Northeast Georgia.

 

These free educational programs are held on the first Thursday of each month at noon at the Frances Meadows Center. Lunch is provided.    Lucheon topics have included:      Light and Easy Summer Cooking , Balancing Work and Family, Social Networking and Internet Safety, Red Flags in Relationships, Symptoms of Serious Health Concerns,                     Easy Entertaining Tips,  Legal Issues Affecting Women, Organization, Tips from Successful Women, Disciplining Children.  To sign up for a Brown Bag Lunch, to purchase tickets for Power of the Purse or for for more information, visit www.WomenSource.info
